- bEARN is an online multicultural community of students, teachers and Youth working as a member center of International Education And Resource Network (iEARN). bEARN has become a member of this global community in February 2004 and has become an iEARN center in April 2006. bEARN is registered as a national NGO from Joint Stock Companies and Firms of The Government of Peoples Republic Bangladesh.
iEARN is a non-profit network that supports over 25,000 schools and more than 2 million youth in 120 countries to collaborate through a global telecommunications network on projects designed to make a difference in the world. Since 1988, iEARN has pioneered on-line school linkages to enable students to engage in meaningful educational projects- with peers around the corner and through out the world.

- The Bangladesh Education and Resource Network (bEARN), an online community of teachers, students and young people working together to make a difference in the world through collaborative educational projects. bEARN works to enable young people to undertake projects designed to make a meaningful contribution for the health and welfare of the planet and its people. It has an extensive network of participating youth groups, schools, teachers and other youth-led & youth focused organizations. bEARN also undertakes research activity for the youth which is planned, designed, conducted by the youth and the output is meant for the overall welfare of the youth leading to national development.
bEARN is working to establish itself as a peak body in the youth and development arena, supporting youth-led and youth focused development organizations. It has undertaken a youth participation research into youth issues, and worked to provide resources and materials to support youth-led organizations in running development projects. A part of the research has already been completed and the findings of the report have been appreciated by thinkers of development sector.
To facilitate the youth, students, teachers and young people bEARN is establishing a Youth Resource Center (YRC) that can be accessed by members of the bEARN youth network, students, teachers working in online projects & other related projects and will assist in building the capacity of our partner youth-led and youth focused organizations. We have already earmarked one room, procured shelves & other furniture, some books, and other necessary accessories for the Youth Resource Center (YRC).
